Ferdinand: Rashford Must Emulate Tammy Abraham’s Game

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand advised Marcus Rashford to emulate the Chelsea bomber, Tammy Abraham.

Chelsea won 2-1 over guests Lille on Matchday 6 Group H Champions League at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday (11/12/2019) early morning Western Indonesian Time.

Chelsea’s victory was opened by Tammy Abraham in the 19th minute. Cesar Azpilicueta then doubled the Blues’ lead in the 35th minute. A goal back from Lille himself was born just before the match ended thanks to Loic Remy.

The victory made Chelsea managed to secure a place in the last 16. They were declared one point ahead of Ajax Amsterdam, who only ranked third with a collection of 11 points.

Tammy Abraham himself has now scored 13 goals and five assists in all competitions this season and Ferdinand praised his quality in front of goal.

“Abraham will score a lot of amazing goals because what he does is he wants to be in the middle of the penalty box and score,” Ferdinand told BT Sport.

“He’s someone who is hungry and has a desire to score goals. “This is a very good, clean and clinical outcome. Abraham made it look easy, it was not an easy final solution. What I like about Tammy is his instincts, his first thought was ‘Take me there, take me there to hurt my opponent, get me there to score’.”

“This is a position determination, some people will tell Marcus Rashford to get into that position and he will score five, six, seven, eight more goals. That is an element of Tammy Abraham’s game. He scored at every level and that brought him to the first team,” Ferdinand added.
