DBasia.news – Premier League Clubs has Prepared a Special Jersey to appreciate medical personnels and anti-racism campaignFIFA as the World’s Highest Football Federation has decided to open the 2020 summer transfer market before the 2019-20 season ended. Special rules were made due to the corona virus pandemic.
The 2019-20 season which should have ended in Europe is still continuing as it had been postponed due to the corona virus for more than two months. FIFA had decided for the summer transfer market to open in the middle of the season to help clubs.
A statement from FIFA continues the previous discussion regarding player’s contracts that expires this June. FIFA hopes that the contract problem can be resolved between the player’s agent, the player in question, and the club.
A positive case of this can be seen recently when Liverpool extended Adam Lallana’s contract for a month. The same policy is also applied by FIFA in the summer transfer market which is usually opened after the end of the season.
“To avoid worries regarding unemployed players, players are allowed to be registered with a maximum of three clubs and have the right to play in official matches for three clubs during the same season,” said a statement from FIFA.
“To give priority to clubs to complete their 2019-20 season with their original squad, provide flexibility, and allow associations to plan their football calendar correctly, associations that follow the two-year calendar are permitted to start the ‘first registration period’ to the 2020-21 season before the completion of the 2019-20 season, depending on certain conditions. “
“To provide financial assistance to parties involved in disputes prior to FIFA, for each claim filed between June 10, 2020 and December 31, 2020 (including both), there will be no requirement to pay an advance fee and no procedure fee will be ordered.”
“For every claim submitted before June 10, 2020 that has not been decided, the maximum amount of procedural costs must be the same as the advance payment fee,” the statement concluded.
The facilities provided by FIFA are expected to help the club. The players can now defend three different clubs in the same season if they changed clubs in the summer of 2019, then change clubs in January 2020, and then changes clubs again this summer.
