DBasia.news – The world’s top football federation, FIFA, has issued a strong statement regarding the European Super League. FIFA will impose strict sanctions on every participating player and team.

Lately there has been a lot of talk about the European Super League. The competition is a battleground between the best clubs in Europe. The idea is like the NFL and the NBA across Europe, but in this case it is football.

Several clubs have reportedly started holding meetings to discuss the European Super League. The competition will be run independently so it will not involve any football federation.

The giants from England, Italy and Spain are reportedly interested in the idea of creating the European Super League. According to them, this competition can increase the club’s income. Although, on the other hand, it will reduce tension in the Champions League.

Apparently, FIFA did not like the idea. FIFA also issued a stern warning to clubs or players who were desperate to appear in a competition.

“Any club or player involved in such competition, as a consequence, will not be allowed to appear in any competition organized by FIFA or the confederation concerned,” wrote a FIFA statement.

“In accordance with the statutes of FIFA and the confederation, all competitions must be organized or recognized by the relevant bodies at their respective levels, by FIFA at the global level and by the confederations at the continental level. In this case, the confederation recognizes the FIFA Club World Cup, in its current forma and the new, as the only club competition in the world while FIFA recognizes the club competitions organized by the confederation as the only continental club competition. “

Thus, clubs appearing in the European Super League can only appear in that competition. A more severe penalty is being excluded from competitions involving the national team.

This statement emerged in the same week as Real Madrid president Florentino Perez’s trip to Turin to meet Juventus president, Andre Agnelli. Reportedly, the two important figures in European football discussed the European Super League.
