Fikayo Tomori Enjoys AC Milan’s Struggle to Reach Double Winner

DBasia.news – Fikayo Tomori believes that AC Milan can achieve something special in two different events this season, namely Serie A and the Coppa Italia.

AC Milan still has a chance to steal the double winner title at the end of the season.

Stefano Pioli’s men currently sit at the top of the Serie A standings and will play the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final against Inter next month.

Tomori admitted that he was very enthusiastic about the Rossoneri’s achievements this season. The England defender said that the cooperation of each party has made Milan so powerful throughout the season.

“We were able to work quite well this season. I was able to give my best on the pitch thanks to the support from the coach, team-mates and also the entire club staff,” Tomori said as quoted by Football Italia.

Fikayo Tomori confirmed that his team is currently under great pressure to win one or even both titles.

But he did not want to feel burdened and chose to enjoy the struggle of his team until the end of the season.

“Of course there is pressure, but it is something positive for us,” added the former Chelsea defender.

“This kind of pressure you have to enjoy. Now we are in a situation where we can grab something special at the end of the season.”

“We must continue to reap good results because the chances of becoming champions will definitely get bigger,” he concluded.

Milan currently sits at the top of the Serie A standings with a collection of 66 points. Il Diavolo Rosso is 3 points ahead of Napoli in second place and six points from Inter Milan in third.
