Florentino Perez Call Real Madrid’s Champion Ambition Faded

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Florentino Perez, President of Real Madrid, revealed the reasons for his team’s failure in the 2018-19 season. Fading champion ambition is the reason.

Real Madrid showed a sagging performance last season. After being left behind by Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane, Los Blancos struggled to maintain consistency.

The result, Madrid can not defend the Champions League title. Meanwhile, at LaLiga, Los Blancos are a long-distance adrift of the champions, Barcelona.

Florentino Perez emphasized that what happened to Real Madrid was fairness. Because the players look discouraged after winning everything in previous seasons. Nevertheless, Perez wants the motivation of the players back.

“Last season was not the season we wanted. We need to understand that this team has won everything, but we have indeed lost the intensity needed to maintain the level of quality,” said Florentino Perez, Marca reported.

“I have no doubt that we can change it. We must make changes. Our challenge is to continue to win in times of difficult situations and competitive competition. We must restore the hunger for victory,” explained the president.

“We are trying to form a championship team. At the FIFA best player award event, we have nine players who were nominated for the best team. We have players who have won many titles, who have won everything. They deserve our love and respect.”

As a first step, Florentino Perez has invested more than 300 million euros in funds for the new ammunition. One of the players who stole the most attention was Eden Hazard.
