Florentino Perez’s habits are able to separate Sergio Ramos from Real Madrid

DBasia.news – The separation of Real Madrid and Sergio Ramos would most likely happen at the end of the season. Florentino Perez’s habit of throwing away aging stars in the past is one of the reasons.
Ramos’ contract in Madrid will expire in the summer. However, until now, negotiations for contract extension are still at a dead end.
The two parties reportedly did not meet a match regarding the duration of the contract being offered. Madrid only wants to provide a contract extension for one year, while Ramos wants more than that.
If the two sides still fail to reach an agreement until the end of the season, then Ramos could leave Madrid for free. This is certainly not desired by Los Blancos fans.
Even so, Florentino Perez, who is now the club president, seems ready to face this situation. Moreover, he already had experiences similar to many previous Madrid stars.
During his tenure, Perez had a tradition of throwing away star players who had entered the end of their career. Some of them even have the status of captains and club legends such as Fernando Hierro, Raul Gonzalez, to Iker Casillas.
Another example, Perez also didn’t mind selling is Luis Figo and Cristiano Ronaldo when they were in their thirties. Even though both of them were once the world’s most expensive players when brought to the Santiago Bernabeu.
In terms of age, Ramos is no longer young as he is now 34 years old. Perez certainly prefers to purchase a new defender who is younger and more powerful.
Madrid fans should be used to seeing their idol players head to other clubs. Ramos is likely to experience a similar situation.
However, it is believed that Ramos will have no trouble finding a new club. Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is eager to use his services next season.
