For Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo Rejects David Beckham’s Offer
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Cristiano Ronaldo turned down a tempting offer from David Beckham to go to Major League Soccer (MLS) club Inter Miami. Cristiano Ronaldo refused because he still wanted to defend Manchester United and was also related to a contract, although Cristiano Ronaldo was furious with Manchester United because he had not bought a player in the transfer market this summer.
As previously reported, it is claimed that Ronaldo is considering leaving because he is worried about the slow movement of Manchester United in the transfer window. Until now, the Red Devils have not recruited players at all.
A number of top European clubs began to be linked with Ronaldo. These clubs are Bayern Munich, Chelsea, AS Roma, to Sporting Lisbon.
In addition to the European clubs above, the Daily Star claims that Ronaldo apparently also received a lucrative offer from Beckham’s Inter Miami.
However, Inter Miami’s experiment hit a dead end as Manchester United immediately informed them that Ronaldo was not for sale this summer.
Although the summer transfer market is still long, until now there has been no talk in the Manchester United camp regarding the possibility of selling Ronaldo.
Both Manchester United and the new manager, Erik ten Hag both still want Ronaldo to stay at Old Trafford and be part of their team next season.
Ronaldo was re-signed by Manchester United at the start of the 2021/22 season yesterday. This is the second period for CR7 to strengthen the Red Devils after 2003 to 2009 ago.
In the 2021/22 season, Ronaldo managed to score 24 goals in 39 matches for Manchester United in all competitions. This record is quite extraordinary for a player who is 37 years old.
Unfortunately, Ronaldo’s goal score was not able to bring Manchester United to a slick achievement. The Red Devils ended the Premier League in sixth place in the standings.
