DBasia.news – Paris Saint-Germain is seriously pursuing the signature of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba. According to the Daily Mail report quoting The Athletic, Les Parisiens prepared a bid of up to 43 million pounds.

Paul Pogba is in the final year of his contract at Manchester United. So far, the negotiation process between Man United and Pogba has not reached a meeting point.

The former Juventus midfielder reportedly rejected Manchester United’s offer of a long-term contract. In fact, if he agrees, Pogba has the potential to receive a total salary of up to 50 million euros.

Therefore, the Red Devils face the risk of losing Pogba for free next summer. Man United would be at a huge disadvantage if that were to happen, given the amount spent on Pogba was £89 million in the summer of 2016.

Paris Saint-Germain took advantage of Man United’s difficult position. PSG are said to have met with Pogba’s representatives to discuss a possible transfer this summer.

Meanwhile, to make Man United give the green light, PSG prepared funds of up to 43 million pounds.

PSG is indeed actively bringing in new players to strengthen the team. PSG wants to realize the dream of winning the Champions League trophy which so far has only barely been achieved.

In the summer of 2021, PSG got Gianluigi Donnarumma, Sergio Ramos, Achraf Hakimi, Georginio Wijnaldum, Sergio Ramos and Danilo Pereira. These players complement the material of previous players who have been strengthened by stars such as Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, and Marquinhos.
