DBasia.news –  David Luiz became a surprise transfer in the UK at the close of the summer transfer window. His sudden move from Chelsea to Arsenal was commented on by Chelsea manager Frank Lampard.

Luiz, 32, went abruptly to Arsenal ahead of the closing of the eight million pound summer transfer window in England. The departure of the Brazilian is somewhat unique because he has signed a two-year contract with Chelsea.

Rumor has it, Luiz skipped training due to a dispute with Lampard and didn’t see his future at Chelsea after the manager preferred to play Kurt Zouma and Andreas Christensen at the heart of the defense.

In addition, Lampard also saw the player who played for two periods with Chelsea as the poison in the dressing room. Lampard, 41, immediately denied the issue and explained what happened.

“I have to try to create the squad according to the picture I want. I’m not saying David is not part of it. I just have to make decisions every day. It’s not about trying to show strength, but doing things right,” explained Lampard, as reported from the Guardian.

“The last thing I want to do is look back at those times and think I hope to do it differently this time. This is just the decision I usually make every day.”

“If it looks like that from the outside (a show of strength), then this is not the fact, I did it purely because of the decision of football,” continued Lampard.

The British manager also explained that there were talks with Luiz before he left for Arsenal. There was no compulsion from Lampard for Luiz to leave Stamford Bridge.

“We had a chance to talk last week, honest conversation because I know David well and I think his decision to move,” added Lampard.

“Obviously there was no compulsion (for Luiz to leave). I immediately gave a clear explanation. Then in terms of noise, no, nothing. There was an honest conversation. As a player (in the past), I always appreciated the honesty of the manager, whatever he was saying.”

Luiz became Arsenal’s sixth recruit this summer. Before Luiz, the Gunners had recruited: Gabriel Martinelli, Dani Ceballos, William Saliba, Nicolas Pepe, and Kieran Tierney.
