Frank Lampard in the Eyes of Didier Drogba

DBasia.news –  Didier Drogba praised his former teammate, Frank Lampard, as an excellent coach for Chelsea.

In the first season, the 41-year-old manager has coached Chelsea, Lampard was confronted with the fact of the embargo on transfers from FIFA as a form of punishment for violating the recruitment of underage players.

Drogba, the former Chelsea striker in mid-2004-2012 and 2014-15, rated his former team-mate as top coach. However, he also predicted the difficulties experienced by Lampard was of the transfer ban for the two periods.

“I think he (Lampard) is a really good coach, but this season is a little more difficult because he does not have many options due to sanctions (FIFA). But I am proud of him,” said Drogba, as reported by Marca.

Drogba, 41, in addition to strengthening Chelsea also played for Le Mans, Guingamp, Olympique Marseille, Shanghai Shenhua, Galatasaray, Montreal Impact, before retiring last year at Phoenix Rising at the age of 40. Drogba claimed to miss playing football, but at the moment, he is enjoying his new activity.

“I want to be in the team, score goals and play important games. But this is part of life, the end of circulation as a player,” added Drogba.

“In the circle of new life, I have met very interesting people like Jean Todt, working on new projects for the future, I am very busy,” he concluded.
