DBasia.news – Los Angeles (LA) Galaxy chose to renew Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s contract instead of Ashley Cole. His contract isn’t renewed and currently, Cole is the free agent.

But now, the fans longing of the 37-year-old player’s performance could be fulfilled soon. Mirror reported Cole is considering to continue his football career in England and joining the Championship Division club, Derby County.

If it’s true, the former Arsenal player would reunite with his former teammate in Chelsea and England national team, Frank Lampard who is currently the manager of The Rams.

The possibility of Cole’s arrival at Pride Park isn’t impossible. Apparently, he is negotiating with Lampard. He would play this season and enters the coaching staff.

Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole are two players who played the prominent roles behind The Blues’ success. They collaborated from 2006 until 2014 and presented many prestigious titles like the Premier League, four FA Cup, League Cup, and certainly two Europe titles, Champions League and Europa League.

Derby County apparently need the new player in the January transfer market because they set the target to qualify for the Premier League next year. Currently, Mason Mount and friends are in the sixth position.
