DBasia.news – Frank Lampard, Chelsea’s manager, chose to be silent when asked about the rumors of Crystal Palace winger, Wilfried Zaha’s transfer.
Chelsea received a ban on registering new players on two transfer markets. However, the sentence was reduced to one period by FIFA.
As a result, Chelsea are able to bring in players in the 2020 winter transfer market. A number of players have reportedly entered the Blues’ radar.
One of the sectors that Chelsea wants to improve is the wing. As the Blues are still looking for a replacement for Eden Hazard who headed to Real Madrid at the start of the season. In addition, Chelsea also have the opportunity to lose Willian at the end of the season as the player is reluctant to extend his contract.
Indeed, Chelsea have brought in Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund. Unfortunately, Pulisic has not shown the performance as expected.
Based on the circulating news in England, Chelsea are monitoring Wilfried Zaha. The former Manchester United player performed nicely in the 2019-2020 Premier League Wilfried Zaha won three goals plus three assists in 21 matches.
Despite the increasingly heavy news, Lampard has chosen to be silent. Super Lamp indicates Chelsea does not want the transfer plan to be uncovered.
“I will not talk about Wilfried Zaha as he is not our player,” Lampard said as reported by Thesportreview.
“If we have to do business, we will do it the way we want to get better. It will be done behind closed doors. We will only announce who might be brought in.”
Chelsea will face a winding road in bringing Wilfried Zaha. As Crystal Palace as the owner has set a high value for the Ivory Coast player.
