DBasia.news –  Chelsea manager Frank Lampard gives full confidence to his young children. He was sure that over time they would show their achievements.

“Now we have great young players and some experienced players to help them,” Frank Lampard said as reported by The Sun.

Some of Chelsea’s young players who have stolen the attention are Tammy Abraham the 22-year-old striker who was top scorer while Chelsea in the English League, 21-year-old Mason Mount as attacking midfielder, 20-year-old Reece James right-back, to Billy Gilmour who was still aged 18 years.

There are still a number of academy players who have been given minutes of play by Frank Lampard. Call it Tino Anjorin (18 years old) and Armando Broja (18 years old).

“I think the club is going in the right direction. In the future, they (young players) will be challengers to win various titles,” said Lampard.

But Lampard stressed, everything takes time. So he asked the fans to be patient and just enjoy the process of developing young players.

“We are now not a competitor of Liverpool and Manchester City which have dominated in the last two or three years. We are working hard to continue to grow,” he concluded.
