Frank Lampard Won’t Lose at Stamford Bridge

DBasia.news –  Chelsea coach Frank Lampard insists he wants to bring the Blues to victory over Leicester City on Sunday (18/8). He claimed he did not want to swallow another defeat.

The party against Leicester became Frank Lampard’s first match as Chelsea coach at Stamford Bridge.

“We certainly want to win in all matches. But, the match will be very important because it is our first home game this season. Moreover, we have to lose in the Premier League first season,” explained Lampard.

Leicester is not an easy opponent to conquer. Since the arrival of Brendan Rodgers from Celtic in mid-2019, Leicester could damage the dominance of The Big Six.

Rodgers’ glory with Leicester was also recognized by Lampard. According to him, Leicester and Rodgers are the perfect combinations because they both complement each other’s needs.

“I know Brendan quite well. He has quite several potential young players combined with several senior figures. The Leicester players managed to get pretty good training with Brendan. So, the party will be a big challenge for us,” said Lampard.
