Frank Lampard: Ziyech is a fantastic and creative player!

Throughout this season, Chelsea have always struggled to break down opponents who played defense. “I think he’s a fantastic player,” Lampard told SkySports. “The first time I saw him was when he appeared in the Champions League last season. I think he was the most prominent player, especially against Tottenham Hotspur.”

“If you look at this season, there have been some matches that we have had difficulty in unlocking doors. He is a player who we hope can inject creativity and bring something different,” Lampard added.

“He scores goals, assists. I know he is not coming at the moment, but I am happy to know he will arrive next year.”

Ziyech is Chelsea’s first recruit since handled by Lampard. The ex-captain of the Blues gave a signal that there will still be more players to follow.
