DBasia.news –  In the match against Manchester City, Mesut Oezil managed to make the interim manager, Fredrik Ljungberg, furious as his performance was unsatisfactory. Not only that, Oezil’s behavior which was considered inappropriate when pulled out of the match also made Ljungberg give out a warning to him.

The Arsenal vs. Manchester City duel in the English League continued at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday (12/15/2019) and ended with the score 0-3. Kevin De Bruyne scored Man City’s two goals, while one was scored by Raheem Sterling.

In that match, Mesut Oezil was played as a starter by Fredrik Ljungberg. However, the German midfielder failed to make a positive contribution and was pulled out in the 59th minute and replaced by Emile Smith Rowe.

Mesut Oezil received scorn from supporters for not immediately stepping out of the field. His emotions then exploded. He furiously kicked the ball hard right near the Arsenal bench. Oezil’s attitude was highlighted by Ljungberg.

“I pulled out Mesut because I wanted to add energy to the team. I think Emile did well when played. Meanwhile, how Mesut reacted is up to him and something we will take care of later, “Fredrik Ljungberg said as quoted by Sky Sports.

Fredrik Ljungberg was reluctant to focus too much on taking care of Mesut Oezil’s behavior as he was aware of his status as an interim manager.

“First I emphasize that I am here on a daily basis, so we will see in the future. However, of course we want the players to behave properly, “he added.

Apart from a 0-3 defeat in the continuing English Premier League, Ljungberg remains proud of the struggle of his players. Especially to the young players who have shown good progress.
