Oezil Chooses to Spend Contract with Arsenal

The German attacking midfielder has only the remaining contracts left until next summer. Oezil became one of the Arsenal players who was predicted to be sold.

“Mesut still has a year left on his contract. There will be no change in this,” Sogut told BeIN Sport.

“So, whatever happens next, time will show. Mesut will be 32 years old and still have a few years in his career,” he continued.

“Mesut and his family will make a decision. That is the best. I cannot talk about Mesut and Fenerbahce because I have no right to discuss this matter, according to the principle of confidentiality.”
