DBasia.news – Fulham as reported by Sky Sports are reportedly wanting to bring Alphonse Areola from Paris Saint Germain on loan for one season.
Areola spent last season on loan at Real Madrid as part of a deal when PSG brought Keylor Navas to the Parc des Princes, but has now returned to the French club.
“The club would like to thank Areola for his dedication, professionalism and exemplary behavior this season and wish him all the best in this new chapter,” wrote Real Madrid on its official website last month.
“Real Madrid are also grateful to PSG for the opportunity to have Alphonse Areola as part of our squad.”
Areola made nine appearances for Madrid last season with Belgium goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois being the main goalkeeper for the Spanish champions.
Previously, Fulham had signed two players this season ahead of the start of a new Premier League season in which Mario Lemina joined on a season-long loan and Harrison Reed signed a permanent contract after last season being loan at Craven Cottage.
Lemina spent last season on loan with Turkish club, Galatasaray. Fulham has the option of making him permanent if he appears impressively at Craven Cottage.
