Georginio Wijnaldum is getting closer to AS Roma

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Georginio Wijnaldum has now found the light, with him moving closer to joining AS Roma after being pushed away from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

There are reports that he is also being sought by several other European clubs, but the Netherlands international player is prioritizing an offer from Roma.

However, the problem is that the Giallorossi can’t afford Wijnaldum, with PSG pegging him for 10 million euros and Roma are more likely to be interested in a loan.

Les Parisiens reportedly have no problem with that, but they want a purchase option at the end.

“AS Roma and Paris Saint-Germain, are in direct contact for Gini Wijnaldum. All parties want to finalize the move but there is still work to be done regarding salary or further details,” wrote European transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano on his personal social media.

“Wijnaldum also has proposals from other clubs but he is now prioritizing Roma as his favorite destination.”

Wijnaldum’s move to Rome will certainly benefit all parties. PSG want to kick him out as he is not included in Christophe Galtier’s plans for next season.

Meanwhile, Roma are looking for an experienced midfielder who can lead their midfield, and similarly, Wijnaldum is in dire need of playing time in order to break into the Netherlands national team for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, with him captaining De Oranje.
