Ginola Assumes Chelsea Put Kante in A Wrong Position

DBasia.news –  The former France national team midfielder, David Ginola, admits N’Golo Kante is a great player. However, he thinks Kate has a wrong position in Chelsea.

Chelsea applied the 4-3-3 scheme under Maurizio Sarri this season. In that formation, Kante plays as the right midfielder.

According to Ginola, Kante’s biggest talent won’t come out in that position. Kante is more suitable to play as the defending midfielder, the current position of Jorginho.

“In the French team, he plays in the middle. When you have a quality player like Kante then you play him in the middle,” Ginola said.

“If you take him away from the French team, it doesn’t look the same at all. But he plays in the central position and this is the key position in modern football.

“For me, Chelsea are wrong to play Kante in that position (on the right). Chelsea are wrong. He is not good in that position,” Ginola added.
