Giving up in trying to sign Morata, Barcelona wants to reunite with La Masia graduates

DBasia.news – Barcelona has reportedly given up on signing Alvaro Morata. Now they want a reunion with one of the La Masia graduates.

Morata is Barcelona’s main target to strengthen their front line in the transfer market this winter. He is projected to replace the role of the retired Sergio Aguero.

Barcelona initially intended to sign Morata on loan. This scheme is carried out to save expenses and salary expenses.

But Morata’s status at Juventus, who is also only a loan player from Atletico Madrid, makes the situation complicated. Although the player is interested in moving to Camp Nou.

With the transfer market about to close, Barcelona are starting to realize that it is difficult to sign Morata. Instead, they turned their focus to Adama Traore.

According to the Daily Mail, Barcelona and Wolverhampton officials have already held conversations. Funds of around £17 million have been prepared by the Spanish giants to realize this transfer.

This amount is higher than the offer of Tottenham Hotspur who are also interested in Traore. Wolverhampton of course also prefer to sell key players outside of England.

Even so, Traore’s move still depends on the future of Ousmane Dembele. Barcelona must first release the French national player to make this transfer happen.

Traore is a La Masia player who is currently working in England with Wolverhampton Wanderers. He is also a member of the Spanish national team.

Surprisingly, Traore is not a commensurate replacement for Morata as he plays as a winger. This indicates that Barcelona are changing their strategy in the transfer market.

Ansu Fati’s injury is believed to be one of the reasons Barcelona are targeting Traore. For the spearhead, Luuk de Jong, who was previously about to be released, is now safe.
