Gonzalo Higuain Comes, Olivier Giroud Dropped Hint of Leaving Chelsea

DBasia.news –  Olivier Giroud has just 12 months supporting Chelsea. However, he dropped the hint of leaving. Giroud was signed by The Blues from Arsenal last January worth 17 million euro.

The new signing Gonzalo Higuain makes Giroud’s game time reduced. Moreover, before his arrival, he just played six times as the starter by Maurizio Sarri in the Premier League this season.

“The coach makes Hazard play nine which is detrimental to strikers. But he is the best player I’ve ever played with,” Giroud said cited by Goal.

Concerning his future with The Blues, Giroud dropped the hint that he might return to France.

“If the club decides to get another striker, like Higuain, it will certainly darken my future at Chelsea. I’ve never said no to a return to France. Lyon and Marseille are two great clubs. My priority is to stay in the Premier League though,” he concluded.

However, Chelsea have no intention to sell him considering Alvaro Morata is closer to the Spanish club, Atletico Madrid.
