Graham Potter made Kai Havertz comfortable at Chelsea

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Kai Havertz, Chelsea striker, praised Graham Potter’s tactical approach for him.

Most recently, Havertz scored one goal and one assist to lead Chelsea to a 2-0 win over Bournemouth on the English Premier League Boxing Day match, Wednesday (28/12).

The Blues’ double goal was the first in the league since beating Aston Villa in mid-October.

“He gave me the freedom to do whatever I feel comfortable on the pitch,” Havertz told Amazon Prime Sport after the match.

“I like to play in a free role and be in the box. He gives me confidence,” said the player from Germany.

“The win and the goals will hopefully help. These are three important points and we have to keep winning. We need the points and we will give our best in the upcoming games,” he added.

Despite the win, Chelsea are still stuck in eighth place in the standings with a collection of 24 points. Havertz and his team are six points adrift of Tottenham Hotspur, who finished fourth.
