Granovskaia’s Three Crucial Steps in the January Transfer Period, Kounde Becomes Mandatory Targets
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Chelsea transfer agent, Marina Granovskaia, reportedly Football London has designed a strategy for next winter. There are three priorities on the transfer market queen’s to-do list.
Chelsea have fond memories of the winter transfer market after bringing in Olivier Giroud from Arsenal, early 2018. The striker helped the Blues win the FA Cup and Europa League titles. Chelsea also ensure a place in the Champions League.
However, that does not mean the mid-season transfer market always ends sweetly for Chelsea. Gonzalo Higuain, Juan Cuadrado, Ricardo Quaresma and Jiri Jarosik are a number of winter signings that did not live up to expectations.
Therefore, Marina Granovskaia tried to design a more mature strategy. That way, the failure rate can be further minimized.
The first step is to extend the contracts of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen. Both are the main pillars in Chelsea’s back line.
Rudiger and Christensen are also long-term replacements for the no longer young Thiago Silva and Cesar Azpilicueta.
The second priority is to bring in Jules Kunde from Sevilla. Reportedly, the defender has a release clause that touches the 72 million euro mark.
However, Chelsea will not be alone in the race for Kunde. Because, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City are a number of teams that have been linked with the French defender.
The next job for Granovskaia is to determine the best future for Billy Gilmour. Currently, the player is starting to often be on the bench during his loan spell at Norwich City.
In fact, Chelsea’s intention to lend Gilmour was to provide flying hours. Therefore, Chelsea could take Gilmour from Norwich before releasing him back to the club with more chances to show off.
