Groin Injury, Neymar Absents Supporting PSG

DBasia.news – Brasilian star Neymar had a groin injury with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). His coach, Thomas Tuchel, confirmed the injury.

Neymar is PSG’s prominent player of all competitions this season. The Brasilian player is always the first choice.

Throughout the season, Neymar has performed in 17 matches of all competitions. From that number, he scored 14 goals and 7 assists.

Apparently, PSG’s decision to rely on Neymar is costly. He got injured in the match against Bordeaux.

On the match with a 2-2 score, Neymar has withdrawn at 57′ and substituted by Maxim Choupo Moting.

Thomas Tuchel admits that he doesn’t know about the injury in detail. But, PSG coach would be more careful in sending Neymar.

“I think it’s the same injury, but I haven’t seen yet,” Thomas Tuchel told Canal+.

“We have to be careful, He said (before the game) it was not a problem playing today. Hopefully, we will have him back,” Thomas Tuchel added.

Neymar scored the goal for PSG before the injury. The 26-year-old striker wrote his name on the scoreboard at 32′.
