DBasia.news – Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola said his squad seemed unprepared to win the Champions League.
Guardiola must claim the feeling from City’s fans that the urge to win the Champions League is gone.
Previously, The Citizens eliminated in the round of 16 and quarter-final of the Champions League during the two periods of the Spanish coach.
“It’s not enough that the manager wants to win it, it’s not just the players. You have to be pushed,” Pep Guardiola said. “Not just by the manager, by everyone surrounding Manchester City,” Pep added regarding the fans support.
“And still we don’t have the feeling that the fans are pushing that we have to win the Champions League,” he said.
“We’ll put more efforts into winning this competition. I saw last season and this that in many circumstances as the club we are, still we are not ready to win it. That’s what I feel,” Guardiola said.
