Guardiola is afraid that Man City would fall apart like Man United

DBasia.news – Manchester City coach, Pep Guardiola, does not want to be conceited despite his team dominating the Premier League in recent years. Guardiola insists, Man City might experience what Manchester United went through, falling apart in a short time.
Pep Guardiola has increasingly asserted the dominance of Manchester City in England. After joining in 2016, Guardiola brought Man City to three Premier League trophies. The opportunity for the 51-year-old coach to win his fourth title this season is also wide open.
However, Guardiola did not want to turn away. According to him, Manchester City should not be careless if they do not want success to disappear instantly.
“Many years ago Manchester United ruled the Premier League without a competitor. At that time, can you imagine they would go through eight seasons without a title?” said Guardiola.
“Did anyone in this country see that this could happen? In fact, it did,” he continued.
Guardiola believes, if not anticipated, the collapse of Manchester City could come in the near future. Therefore, The Citizens need to continue to improve themselves.
“If it happens to Manchester United, it can happen to us too. Not next season, but tomorrow,” added the former Bayern Munich coach.
“That can happen because football is difficult to predict. Because humans are not perfect. We are also not perfect and problems can happen.”
Manchester City will visit Norwich City headquarters in the 2021-2022 Premier League continued match, at Carrow Road Stadium, Sunday (13/2) morning WIB. Currently, Man City are at the top of the standings with 60 points from 24 matches.
