Guardiola Won’t Mind About Wembley Pitch

DBasia.news – Tuesday, October 30, Tottenham Hotspur will meet Manchester City. The match will be conducted at Wembley, one day after the American Football, NFL, between Jacksonville Jaguars against Philadelphie Eagles. The match perhaps would change the surface and the pitch.

If the pitch isn’t ideal, Man City would have difficulty in playing their short and quick passings. Kevin De Bruyne, Man City attacking midfielder stated that before.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino doesn’t mind and hopes the pitch will make it difficult for Man City. However, Pep Guardiola won’t mind about that, hoping that Tottenham could play in White Hart Lane soon.

“It is what it is. I’m pretty sure that Tottenham have a good greenkeeper. I think the Premier League doesn’t like it too much but it is what it is,” Guardiola told reporters quoted by Goal.

“Hopefully, Tottenham can finish a stadium as quickly as possible but it is not necessary to complain about that. We have to adapt quickly, figure out that the pitch will not be in perfect conditions and adapt,” he insisted.

Both teams have two points difference. Man City lead the standing with 23 points and Tottenham in the 5th rank. The Citizens are unbeatable so far, with Liverpool and Chelsea, in the Premier League.
