“Last year, I was often a scapegoat because I arrived here with Maurizio Sarri. Then, I was upset after supporters said things that were not true,” Jorginho told FourFourTwo.
“But, I have never tried to challenge people who like to throw criticism. In fact, their criticism actually gave me extra energy to perform and work even harder,” he added.
Furthermore, Jorginho also claimed to have been accustomed to facing harsh criticism from supporters. He even claimed to have had a plan to leave Chelsea.
“I’ve been through moments like this in clubs before. Sometimes, moments like this makes me think ‘am I better off moving? Do I have no place here?”
