DBasia.news – Hans-Dieter Flick could only laugh at the rumors of Chelsea’s interest in his team’s left-back, David Alaba, in the transfer market this winter.
It was recently rumored that Chelsea’s interest in bringing David Alaba to Stamford Bridge. According to the Mirror, the Blues have prepared a 70 million euro offer to sign the 27-year-old in January.
The rumor became one of the questions asked by reporters to Hansi Flick who was leading the Bayern Munich squad diving training camp in Doha, Qatar. In response, the coach who replaced Niko Kovac only confirmed one thing, namely David Alaba was not sold.
“Is Alaba not sold?” Asked the reporter as quoted by TZ Munich. Hansi Flick replied, “I can really say that.”
Chelsea’s intention to bring David Alaba in January is like a dream at noon. The player is still under contract until June 30, 2021. His position in the Bayern Munich first team was unwavering. The Filipino bloody player even became an alternative when Die Roten lacked a central defender due to injury.
At present, it is highly unlikely that Bayern Munich will release Alaba. Lucas Hernandez has returned to training, but Niklas Suele will almost certainly still be absent for the next few months. Meanwhile, Jerome Boateng is trying to leave.
In addition, other things make Bayern Munich almost impossible to release David Alaba. That is his status as a club academy dropout. In the midst of a talent famine that can penetrate the first team, he and Thomas Mueller are the main icons of Die Roten.
