Harry Kane: Ready to Fight Liverpool

“Amazing, exactly what we needed to do. We know we have difficult results and that is the perfect way to respond. We want to press high. Of course, we have to score at the start, but we are cruel in front of goal and get a clean sheet too,” Harry Kane told BT Sport.

Tottenham won a landslide victory 5-0 over guests Crvena Zvezda in the Champions League Group B match on Wednesday (10/23/2019) early morning Western Indonesian Time. Kane and Son Heung-min both contributed two goals in this fight.

This is Tottenham’s first win since beating Southampton at the end of September. This is also the second victory of the Lilywhites in the last eight games. Kane believes this victory will be good momentum ahead of the game against Liverpool at Anfield this weekend.

“The most important thing is the victory. Winning 5-0 was exactly what we needed. We still have a long way to go. Hopefully, we can build this momentum. “Liverpool is a difficult match, obviously they have started a fantastic season, but hopefully we can win that match,” said Harry Kane.

Kane himself has defended Tottenham in 12 matches in all competitions this season. He also contributed nine goals and one assist.
