Harry Maguire moves quickly to overcome issues in Man United’s changing room

DBasia.news – Manchester United’s changing room is facing unfortunate news after losing to Wolverhampton Wanderers. Harry Maguire as the captain moved quickly to reduce the turmoil.
Lack of cooperation and fighting spirit has indeed been blamed for Manchester United’s poor performance. Cristiano Ronaldo and his team seemed to be half-hearted and prioritized their respective egos on the field.
The problem is compounded by the discomfort of some players regarding the choice of tactics used by Ralf Rangnick. The interim manager’s 4-2-2-2 scheme did not go well.
Maguire did not remain silent at this situation. Even though he was injured, he tried to carry out his role as captain to the maximum.
“I am captain and leader in the changing room, and I have had private conversations with the players and management. For me, there is no need for criticism to motivate the players in this team,” Maguire told the club’s official website.
“If a player of our quality is not motivated to defend this club then something is wrong. I am here to fight and I know my team-mates.”
Maguire also gave an opinion regarding the figure of Rangnick in the eyes of the Manchester United squad. He made sure all the players still respect him.
The German coach has not brought significant changes. Manchester United still appears unstable like when they were handled by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Manchester United’s chance to win the Premier League title this season is almost closed. This was exacerbated by the significant decline in the performance of a number of key players.
“He (Rangnick) has made an impact and the manager was there to manage us tactically which we really took. We listened to him and his staff but it was all up to us once the game started.”
“The details and preparations are huge, but we have a lot of respect and trust in his methods. It’s difficult when the coaching team changes in the middle of the season and it depends on us as players.”
