Hazard Is in the Worst Phase of His Career
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Eden Hazard has been with Real Madrid for two years after moving from Chelsea. There the 30-year-old hasn’t found his best form as his years at Chelsea have shown.
Injuries and fitness are a problem for Hazard so he never finds his best performance. This season, Carlo Ancelotti, the Madrid coach, has not played him as a starter since last September against the Sheriff in the Champions League.
Hazard, despite having superior playing experience, is unable to compete with Vinicius Junior or Rodrygo who is more trusted to play by Ancelotti. However, Roberto Martinez still called Hazard to the Belgian national team.
With just 51 minutes of appearances at the club in his last seven games, Hazard has been called up by Martinez during the international break. However Martinez also knows that Hazard is frustrated.
The ex-Everton coach has confirmed that Hazard is entering the saddest phase of his career, which frustrates him.
“In recent years, he (Hazard) has lived with it, but he has concentrated on the national team,” Martinez said, as reported by Marca.
“We need him to arrive at the World Cup prepared. We have grown from the dressing room side.”
“From a football perspective, Eden is in a sad moment. He has left the winning project (at Chelsea, but) he doesn’t have the rhythm of the competition.”
In this difficult situation, Eden Hazard’s brother who plays at Borussia Dortmund, Thorgan Hazard provides support to his brother. He believes Hazard can get out of a difficult situation.
“I’ve been on the bench many times in my career, and the only advice I can give him is to work hard to change the situation,” Thorgan said recently.
“It’s difficult because he has a few minutes to show his worth, but sometimes you can win a game in five minutes.”
