Hector Bellerin is happy with Real Betis

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Hector Bellerin enjoyed a wonderful career with Real Betis Balompie, he even underwent the Copa del Rey title, which may have made him more comfortable and reluctant to return to Arsenal.

The Spanish defender’s 2021/22 season spent with Balompie, making 32 appearances in all competitions leading up to the knockout stages of the Europa League, and Balompie is in the top five of La Liga.

The beautiful journey in Spain seems to be coming to an end as the president of Balompie honors Bellerin’s contract at Arsenal, as well as mentions that Bellerin will return to London.

Real Betis Balompie president, Angel Haro would not rule out the prospect of Bellerin joining the club next season, but said there was no agreement to sign him as soon as his loan spell ends.

“Hector is a fanatical player and a great person,” he told reporters. “It was a loan we got from Arsenal, now he’s back at Arsenal and from then on, we’ll see.”

“It’s true that he is very caught up in everything about Betis because his parents are Betis fans. Hope we see each other again.”

Bellerin, 27, has had a huge impact on the team he has supported since childhood. The Spain international player had tears in his eyes as he waved to the club’s fans after their last home game of the season – a 2-0 win against Granada last week.

Apart from winning the Copa del Rey, Betis are also vying for a top five finish in La Liga this season. Betis, who will face Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu in the final game of the season, are currently fifth in the table and two points clear of Real Sociedad, with Sevilla three points above in third place.
