DBasia.news – Jordan Henderson defended Jurgen Klopp’s decision due to the lack of Liverpool’s transfer activities.
Liverpool’s lack of active movement in the transfer market this summer is enough to raise many questions. In fact, they are a club that needs to maintain competitiveness on both the domestic and European stages.
To maintain and even increase achievements in the 2019-20 season, big clubs usually recruit new players labeled as stars. However, so far this has not been done by Liverpool.
Klopp was quite satisfied with the composition of his squad. Jordan Henderson also believes in his coach’s policy regarding the needs of his team to face the 2019-20 season competition.
“I think we have a fantastic squad, we have shown it.” Our great players have also come back from a long injury and they are like new recruits as the coach said,” Henderson stated.
“If the coach doesn’t recruit players, he certainly knows better than everyone. We believe we have a strong team in the locker room and we just need to keep learning, developing during practice. Continue to do what has been done for a long time and remain hungry, “he added.
