Henrikh Mkhitaryan Reveals His Reasons to Leave Arsenal

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  It’s hard to play football if the player no longer enjoys it. That is what Henrikh Mkhitaryan felt when he left Arsenal and joined AS Roma.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan came to the Premier League in 2016. At that time, Mkhitaryan was recruited by Manchester United thanks to his neat performance with Borussia Dortmund.

Unfortunately, Henrikh Mkhitaryan failed to find the best form of performance at Manchester United. The result, the Armenian footballer was released to Arsenal as part of Alexis Sanchez’s transfer.

Again Henrikh Mkhitaryan has not been able to show performance as in Borussia Dortmund. Arsenal also loaned Mkhitaryan to AS Roma.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan revealed that he no longer enjoyed football in the Premier League. Mkhitaryan feels he can enjoy football again by changing the atmosphere.

“Last month at Arsenal, I did not feel happy. I had to enjoy playing football, no matter where. In England, I no longer felt it,” said Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

“Now, I defend AS Roma and have to focus on them. This is not a setback, here playing great football. I want to change the atmosphere and this is a great opportunity.”

“Serie A is a great opportunity. I immediately accepted AS Roma’s offer as quickly as possible with enthusiasm. In fact, at that time we did not talk about money,” he added.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan came to AS Roma towards the close of the 2019 summer transfer window. The 30-year-old had a chance to make his debut when I Lupi faced Sassuolo.
