How Difficult for Chelsea to Win at the Opposition Headquarters in 2020
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Chelsea drew 2-2 against Leicester City at King Power Stadium in the continuation of Week 25 of the Premier League on Saturday (01/02) night Western Indonesian Time.
Chelsea scored twice from Antonio Rudiger (46 ‘and 71’). While Leicester’s two goals were scored by Harvey Barnes (54 ‘) and Ben Chilwell (64’). As a result, there were no significant changes from both teams. Leicester ranks third in the standings (49 points) and Chelsea is ranked fourth (41 points).
Two of Rudiger’s goals were positive because the German passports defender made it in the 100th match for Chelsea. In addition, the former AS Roma defender scored for the first time two goals in the league and that number was the same as the numbers he made with Roma (56 appearances) and Stuttgart (66 appearances).
But there is a minor note from the draw. Frank Lampard and his team are still waiting for their first away win in the Premier League in 2020. Chelsea has won just two points away from a possible nine points.
However according to Lampard, the draw at Leicester’s headquarters was not a failure because it lost two points – both teams deserved a draw.
“Those are not the two missing points, they can count on Harvey Barnes’s chances when it was 2-2,” Lampard told TalkSport.
“I can talk about the opportunities we had in the first half. That’s a pretty fair result.”
“The two missing points are against Arsenal. We always want to win, but I am quite happy. It was a difficult match here,” continued the Chelsea legend.
Now the Premier League is entering winter break. After the winter break, Chelsea will host Manchester United in the continued 26th week of the Premier League at Stamford Bridge on 18 February 2020 at 3:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time.
