Ighalo Wanted To End His Career At MU
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Odion Ighalo wanted to end his career at Manchester United. The 30-year-old player was loaned to Old Trafford in the winter transfer window last January, scoring four goals so far from eight appearances before the competition was postponed due to the corona virus outbreak.
In accordance with the initial contract, Ighalo will return to Shanghai Shenhua at the end of this May, but the Red Devils reportedly want to extend the agreement if the 2019/20 season competition resumes.
United seem to want to secure Ighalo’s status, and that hope is in line with the player’s wish to end his career with the club made by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
“He is a great athlete. I have never seen someone more passionate about their work than he is,” Ekemini Ekerette said.

“I think he is in very good physical condition. He likes the match. He just wants to practice. Even if the league is not played in the next three months, he will continue to train every day. He is very disciplined.”
“He is a team player and has talked about [Marcus] Rashford, [Anthony] Martial, [Mason] Greenwood, and how fantastic they all are. So he hopes to play with Rashford.”
“He wants to survive and love United, Ole [Gunnar Solskjaer] and fans, and he will be happy to be Red for the rest of his life.”
