Indonesia National Team Must Anticipate Ikhsan Fandi Ahmad in AFF Cup

The son of Singapore national team coach Fandi Ahmad previously proved himself by scoring three goals in four Singapore friendly matches ahead of 2018 AFF Cup.

One goal was created when Singapore played 1-1 against Mauritius. Another goal created during the trial of Hercules CF on the 2-0 victory against Fiji.

“It could be a pressure. But I think he needs one goal to start everything,” Khairul Amri said.

“That was the first goal called Launchpad, that’s what he needs in this tournament and hopefully will happen in the match against Indonesia. It will give him and the teammates the confidence for the remaining matches,” he continued.

Khairul Amri, who scored 10 goals in AFF Cup believes Ikhsan Fandi isn’t under pressure.

“The pressure is on the opponent because they will see a striker with a different character that they usually see in Singapore.”

“Ikhsan brings power and strength. Another style for Singapore, so the defenders need to worry when he concentrates on his game,” Khairul Amri continued.
