Inter Milan are more confident in facing the end of the season

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Inter Milan coach, Simone Inzaghi insists his team are in full confidence at the end of the season. Inter proved themselves to still be  alive after overthrowing Juventus at home.

Inter’s pace had slowed down at the start of this year. The Nerazzurri who are at the top of the standings began to decline and lost competitiveness with Napoli plus Milan.

Now, Inter are starting to get back on track. One of them was with the win against Juventus. Hakan Calhanoglu’s penalty was the differentiator.

Now, the distance between Inter and Milan who are at the top of the standings is only four points. Inter also still have one more game remaining.

“It was an important win from all points of view. We got it against a strong team in an important match. It allowed us to stay close to the top of the table and play the end of the season in the best way possible,” said Inzaghi as reported by Football Italia.

“I think Inter have what it takes to win all kinds of games. In Turin, we did well.”

“When we have to suffer, we all feel it together and it is possible to win a game that is fundamental to our path,” said the former Lazio coach.

Now, Inter will meet Hellas Verona at the Giuseppe Meazza. Inzaghi refused to look his opponent in the eye.

“Verona will be an important match for us. It will be challenging to face a team with high intensity and quality players. We have to be good at playing a great match as a real Inter,” explained Inzaghi.
