DBasia.news – Inter Milan’s management gave an ultimatum to one of its players, Marcelo Brozovic, who never finished extending his contract. It is known that the Croatian midfielder’s contract will expire in two months.
Marcelo Brozovic has been with Inter Milan since 2016. The Croatian national team player left Dinamo Zagreb for a fee of 18 million euros.
Slowly, Brozovic transformed into an irreplaceable figure. Epic Brozo was an important part behind the Scudetto title won last season.
However, Inter’s story with Brozovic would most likely end this season. As the player’s contract will expire in June 2022. That way, if he doesn’t agree with the new contract, Brozovic can leave on a free transfer.
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport report, Inter are trying to persuade Brozovic with a new contract. However, Inter’s offer is reportedly still too low. Brozovic wants to earn more than 6 million euros.
Inter was disappointed with the protracted negotiations. Inter suspects that Brozovic has held meetings with Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid.
Not accepting Brozovic’s actions, Inter took a firm decision. Inter has asked Brozovic to decide his future before Christmas this year. If he is unwilling to extend his contract, Inter will sell Brozovic in the winter of 2022.
