Inter Milan has fresh funds from selling Stefan de Vrij
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Inter Milan rejected offers for Milan Skriniar and Alessandro Bastoni. But Inter remain calm as they can still raise funds from the sale of Stefan de Vrij to Manchester United or Aston Villa.
In recent weeks, reports have emerged of offers from various clubs for the Nerazzurri centre-back.
Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and several other clubs wanted Skriniar and Bastoni, but the asking price for the two players was in the range of €90-100 million.
According to Sportitalia, Inter could part with De Vrij, whose contract at the San Siro expires in June 2023.
The 30-year-old Dutch player joined from Lazio as a free agent in 2018 and he made 41 competitive appearances for Inter in the 2021/22 season, scoring once.
Apart from the Red Devils and The Villans, reported by Football Italia, there are a number of other Premier League clubs who are also interested in de Vrij.
Newcastle United, who are looking for a new defender, are competing with AC Milan for Sven Botman from Lille. With such a situation, they are believed to be targeting de Vrij.
