Basia.news – Inter Milan officially announced the dismissal of Luciano Spalletti as a coach.
This announcement came after several weeks circulating rumors that said the coach would part with the Nerazzurri.
“FC Internazionale Milano can confirm that Luciano Spalletti is no longer the head coach of the first team,” said a club statement.
“The club thanks Spalletti for the work and the results achieved together.”
Spalletti arrived at the Giuseppe Meazza from AS Roma in the summer of 2017 and successfully led Inter to the Champions League ticket in the last two seasons in a row.
However, his achievements are still considered unsatisfactory because he has not been able to bring Inter to be a serious contender for the Scudetto Serie A Italy which has been dominated by major rivals, Juventus during the past eight seasons.
