Inter Milan Switch from Correa to the Italian National Team Striker

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Inter Milan made a quick move to bring in a new striker. After the transfer of Joaquin Correa was difficult to realize, the Nerazzurri have now turned to the Italian national team bomber.

The figure in question is Andrea Belotti. The Torino captain has a more affordable price.

Inter actually made Correa their main target. This is a special request from the coach, Simone Inzaghi.

Inzaghi believes Correa is the right person to fill the void in Inter’s front line after the death of Romelu Lukaku. He already knows the quality of the Argentine striker because he has coached him for the last three seasons.

But Lazio did not want to sell Correa cheaply. They set the player at a price of around 40 million euros.

Inter could not meet Lazio’s request. La Beneamata was only able to make up for it at a price of 30 million euros.

The difference in the price difference is quite far, which hampers the negotiation process. The two clubs then actually bullied each other.

Lazio confirmed that it would not lower the price of Correa even though he was interested in moving to the Giuseppe Meazza. On the other hand, Inter are ready to look for other targets if the Italian capital club do not accept their offer.

Inter finally really turned the focus to Belotti. The 27-year-old striker is only priced at around 20 million euros.

Torino did not put a high price tag because Belotti’s contract only had one year left. This summer was even their last chance to make big profits from the sale of their star.

Reporting from Sky Sport Italia, representatives of Inter and Torino have held a meeting to discuss the transfer of Belotti. It is not impossible that an agreement will occur in the near future.

At the same time, this condition makes Lazio cornered. Il Biancocelesti must be able to change the stance of Correa who has asked to be sold.
