DBasia.news – Inter Milan reportedly has not taken his eyes off of Napoli striker, Lorenzo Insigne. The Nerazzurri will be looking to sign the Italian national team striker once again in the upcoming transfer window.
Lorenzo Insigne currently holds the status as one of the most senior players in the Napoli squad. Insigne has defended Il Partenopei since the summer of 2012. Not surprisingly, the 30-year-old striker has earned the trust as the captain.
However, Insigne’s journey with Napoli was threatened with disbandment. The reason is that the two parties are still far from agreeing on a new contract. Meanwhile, Insigne’s term will end this season.
This situation has made Inter make an offer in the transfer market last summer. However, 25 million euros installed by Napoli is considered too high. Inter are aware that there is still an opportunity to bring Insigne at a lower value, even for free.
According to Calciomercato reports, Inter will try once again to sign Insigne in the upcoming transfer window. La Beneamata are trying to reach a personal agreement with Insigne to join in the summer for free.
According to the circulating news, Insigne has asked for a salary of 6 million euros per season outside of self-image rights. In addition, Insigne also asked for compensation of 7 million euros as part of the deal with Inter.
The value requested by Insigne is still in Inter Milan’s pocket. However, on the other hand, the amount has made Napoli take a step back.
Inter Milan prepared Lorenzo Insigne as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez who was often injured. Inter need as many striker options as possible to navigate three different competitions. In addition, Inter does not have a striker with a style of play like Insigne.
