Istanbul Basaksehir Seriously Target Mesut Ozil

DBasia.news – The Turkey club Istanbul Basaksehir’s interest to Arsenal attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil isn’t just a rumor. Basaksehir President, Goksel Gumusdag, said he is ready to do anything to sign him.

The issue of Mesut Ozil’s conflict with Arsenal manager Unai Emery is trending recently. Ozil is rumored leaving Emirates Stadium.

Some Europe top clubs are ready to sign him. Real Madrid and Inter Milan stay in the front line.

However, both top teams are not the only one who target Mesut Ozil. Istanbul Basaksehir want to bring Ozil to his ancestral land.

As we know, Mesut Ozil is a Turkey-blood football player. But, Ozil chose to defend his hometown Germany during the international competition.

Goksel Gumusdag praises Mesut Ozil. The President also offers him to join Basaksehir once leaving Arsenal.

“Mesut Ozil is a precious player. I hope one day our paths will cross at Basaksehir,” Goksel Gumusdag told Bild.

“If he wants to be with us as well, we would do anything to get him,” the President continued.

Currently, Istanbul Basaksehir are supported by two Arsenal players, Gael Clichy and Emmanuel Adebayor. By this fact, seems like Mesut Ozil won’t face any difficulty to adapt.
