It Is Believed That Cristiano Ronaldo Will Not Stay at Juventus Next Season
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Juventus legend Toto Schillaci believes this season will be Cristiano Ronaldo’s last time in Turin amid speculation about his burgeoning future after the Italian side’s exit from the Champions League.
Ronaldo joined Juventus from Real Madrid in 2018. His presence has inspired the Old Lady to win two Serie A titles. However, Juve have always failed in the Champions League. Even though the goal of Ronaldo’s recruitment was to restore Juventus to glory on the European stage.
This season, Juve failed again after being eliminated by Porto in the last 16. Inevitably, Ronaldo was immediately bombarded with criticism.
Ronaldo’s contract at Juventus will expire in the summer of 2022. However, some believe the star will leave before his contract expires.
“This will be his last season in Turin,” said Schillaci to La Gazzetta dello Sport as quoted by AS. “I don’t know if the club will offer him a contract extension, but for sure he will not take long to find a new club.”
“He received criticism after stopping in the Champions League, we talked about the best attacker in the world. Anyone can play badly,” said Schilacci.
