Italian Government Doesn’t Guarantee Giving Permission to Continue Serie A

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Italian government can’t guarantee giving permission related to the continuation of the 2019-2020 Serie A season. The Pizza Affairs Authority is still focused on resolving the Corona virus pandemic.

Serie A and FIGC operators are indeed waiting for the green light from the government to continue the competition which was delayed since last March. The two Italian soccer stakeholders were a continuation of Serie A as a fixed price.

If it cannot be continued, the Serie A clubs are certain to incur substantial losses. This will trigger a financial crisis that could lead to bankruptcy.

Serie A is planned to be held again at the end of May. While the participating clubs planned to hold training three weeks earlier when the lockdown rule was lifted by the Italian government.

But the plan will not just happen. They need permission from the relevant parties in this case the Minister of Sports and the Minister of Health.

Considering authorization from Serie A. For him, at the moment it is not a priority.

“Seeing the number of deaths of more than 400 people per day, making football the last problem we will deal with. I say that with all due respect and as a football fan,” Speranza told Radio Capital.

This statement makes the continuation of Serie A this season becomes increasingly unclear. But the attitude of the Italian government is reasonable because they are one of the countries with the highest number of positive cases of corona virus in the world.
