Jack Wilshere Hopes Arsenal Defend Aubameyang

DBasia.news – The future of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at Arsenal has not met with certainty.  Former Gunners midfielder Jack Wilshere hopes Arsenal can keep the striker.

 Aubameyang’s contract will expire in 2021. Until now, Arsenal’s efforts to arrest him have not been successful.

 Aubameyang himself has been an important Arsenal player in the last three seasons.  The Gabon striker has made 70 goals in 109 appearances.

 The latest, Aubameyang has just presented the inaugural trophy for Arsenal.  He helped the team made by Mikel Arteta win the FA Cup, after beating Chelsea 2-1 in the final last weekend, where he bought up two of his winning goals.

 Wilshere, who had played with Aubameyang at Arsenal before moving to West Ham United, claimed Arsenal had to keep him.  Because, the former AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund player has become a figure sought at the Emirates Stadium.

 “It’s incredible for the club if they make it survive. You can see what he gives. I was there when he was recruited, and immediately impressed since the first training session. You know he’s a world-class player. He scored with his left and right legs  , he can beat a defender. “

 “I am fortunate enough to play with a number of players like that, but he is one of the best. Can I replace him? Arsenal is a big club.”

 “He is the captain, the fans love him, he gets respect from the whole club. If he were, I would survive. It’s easy for me to say. As I said, it’s important to take care of him because he’s the right person, he’s the best player, and can  lead.”

 “When the team collapsed, everyone looked at him to do something. He came up with a good performance,” said Wilshere.
