Javier Hernandez Hungry for Success with Sevilla
By db-admin
DBasia.news – A 3-0 victory over Qarabag in the Europa League is proof that Sevilla is still ambitious to win a trophy this season.
One of Sevilla’s goalscorers last night was their new striker, Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez. The former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker made an unusual goal for him; outside the penalty box and free-kick.
“We are very happy with a very great match like what the whole team did. My goal is indeed good, but more than that I felt we were not good at the beginning. Qarabag is very pressing and if they succeed in scoring first, things will get a little more complicated. But we have two additional goals that give us peace of mind,” said Chicharito after the match, which we quoted from the official Sevilla website.
“I always say that, since I arrived at Sevilla, I have felt very hungry and excited. I want to respond by giving everything on the field, always with a good performance so that I can add something positive to this team.”
“Goals certainly provide great confidence, but beyond that, the striker can do many things, as Luuk De Jong has done in recent matches with his performance despite not scoring goals. We all know that with goals, assists, attitudes, and efforts made, we (the strikers) want to give everything in the interests of the team, which is the most important thing.”
